John's Place in Fort Mill

John's Place hosts its own Poker League. It's not part of the Charlotte Pub Poker League.

John's finished its last season this past Wednesday Nov 18 2009 and will start a new season this Friday Nov 20 2009.

The structure is a little different than Pub Poker, but its still Texas Hold'em. They play on Wed and Fri every week at 7:30 and 10pm . I have not played on a Friday but they have Great Drink prices on Wed! Dollar Draft's etc. Free to play - League style.

Like I say a new season starts this Friday and everything could change, but this is how it worked last season.

4000 Starting Chip Stack
Blinds start 25 25
2nd round 25 50 and double each round after.
I believe 12 minute rounds - could be 10 minute .
They play with 2 decks a table with the cutoff shuffling. "Raleigh style for you pub poker league players"
At least 25 players each wed and always 4 tables, I have seen over 30 on a Wed.
They have the same oblong fold up tables that you are used to playing on with decent chips and plastic cards.
